Health Care

The clinic in Tal-El is a building in the settlement. All of the services provided by the General Health Services are available here in conjunction with Maccabbee's services. The building is small and intimate, with all the necessary equipment including an Electrocardiogram (EKG) machine, oxygen tank, and a deluxe first aid kid. We hope never to need these important things.

Dr. Rachel Luzzati is the resident General Health Services (Shirutei Briut Klalit) physician. A graduate of Hadassah Jerusalem's healthcare faculty, she is specialized in family practice.

Healthcare is provided through the entire life cycle, including pregnancy and yearly checkups. Preventative healthcare and blood tests are provided as well.

• The closest x-ray facilities and specialized professional physicians are in Acre, Karmiel, Naharia, and Kiryat Biyalik.
• There are nursing stations in Amka, Misgav, Acre, Karmiel, Naharia, and Kiryat Biyalik. This service is coordinated by Dr. Luzzati.
• The nearest hospitals are: The Western Galilee Hospital in Naharia, Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Karmel Hospital in Haifa, Bnai Tzion Hospital in Haifa.

Sunday from 3PM-5PM
Monday from 4PM-5PM
Tuesday from 7:30PM to 8:30PM
Thursday from 7:30PM to 8:30PM
Friday from 7AM to 7:30AM

Visits are by appointment. Please call 04-956-4004 and leave a message at least an hour before the clinic opens. In case of emergencies, call Dr. Luzzati at 054-613-324. Please use this number with discretion.

Ana Bloom is the Maccabbee Doctor who specializes in Internal Medicine. She trained at Rambam in Haifa.
